SAN DIEGO - October 27, 2003 - QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq:
QCOM), the leader in mobile communications for the
transportation industry, today announced that The H.T.
Hackney Company, one of the largest wholesale
distributors in the United States, has selected
FleetAdvisor® to automate driver logs and track state
mileage for fuel tax reporting to meet the Department of
Transportation (DOT) Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
H.T. Hackney selected QUALCOMM's FleetAdvisor solution
for their entire fleet of over 500 units across 33
locations. H.T. Hackney specializes in short haul,
multiple stop deliveries to food convenience stores,
drug stores, supermarkets and restaurants. FleetAdvisor
automates the driver logs and trip reports required by
the DOT to help ensure a company's compliance to HOS
regulations.

The FleetAdvisor solution helps solve compliance

exception-based alerts to manage late arrivals and
departures, monitor unscheduled stops and excessive
delays and track off-route miles.
